♔ The #1 King

The #1 King honors Artesia’s legendary football dynasty — a program known across New Mexico for decades of championships, tradition, and excellence under the lights.

♕ The Bulldog Queen

The Bulldog Queen represents the heart of Artesia itself — strong, proud, loyal, and fearless. More than a mascot, the Bulldog spirit lives in the community, the schools, and every Friday night crowd.

♗ The Megaphone Bishop

The megaphone stands for the energy of football season — cheerleaders on the sidelines, marching bands in the stands, and the roar of Bulldog pride echoing through town.

♘ The Oil Derrick Knight

The oil derrick honors the oil and gas industry that helped build Artesia and continues to fuel the hardworking spirit of the community.

♖ The Balloon Rook

The hot air balloon celebrates Balloons & Tunes — Artesia’s beloved annual festival filled with music, color, tradition, and memories shared across generations.

♙ The Bulldog Pup Pawn
